Terms of Service
Last updated: October 11, 2026.
These terms are between you and Local SEO Bot LLC (“we”) for Maprank, the Google Maps rank tracker at maprank.so and app.maprank.so. If you create an account, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. Questions go to support@maprank.so.
The service
Maprank scans a grid of points on Google Maps and records where a business ranks at each point. You can save businesses, schedule scans, brand reports, share a read-only link, invite teammates on eligible plans, and connect an API key or an AI client through the hosted MCP server.
A ranking is a reading of public Google Maps results at the time of the scan. It is not an official Google report, and it is not a promise of future rank, traffic, or revenue. The grid is a sample of a market, not every search a customer might make.
Accounts
You can sign up with an email and password, or with Google. You are responsible for activity on the account, including teammates and API keys.
If you already pay for Local SEO Bot, the same login can open Maprank without a second subscription. Other Local SEO Bot products are not covered by these terms.
The free demo
A new Maprank account gets one free demo scan. It is a manual 5×5 scan, which is 25 credits, for one business. No card is required. The scan is not taken out of a credit balance. If that scan fails, you can run the demo again.
A larger grid, another scan, a scheduled scan, and any scan started through the API or MCP all require a paid plan. After the demo is used, a paid plan is required to keep scanning.
Credits and plans
One credit is one grid point. A 5×5 scan is 25 credits. A 7×7 scan is 49 credits. The app shows the cost before a scan runs. Adding a business does not spend a credit. Only scans do.
Plans on sale, billed monthly:
- Solo — $19. 4,900 credits a month. Grids up to 9×9. One seat. Reports on a Maprank link.
- Agency — $39. 12,250 credits a month. Grids up to 11×11. Unlimited seats. Reports on a Maprank link.
- Pro — $79. 29,400 credits a month. Grids up to 21×21. Unlimited seats. Reports on your own domain.
- Scale — $149. 58,800 credits a month. Grids up to 21×21. Unlimited seats. Reports on your own domain. Priority support.
Yearly billing is 20% off the monthly price. The amount charged is the price shown on the pricing page and at Stripe checkout. Above Scale, an Enterprise plan is priced on a contract. Grids are odd sizes, up to the maximum for your plan, at a spacing you set in miles.
If you are on an older plan, your current price and allowance stay until you move to a current plan.
Every current plan includes white-label reports: your logo, your colors, your support details, and the option to hide Maprank's name. Serving those reports from your own domain starts on Pro, because it needs a certificate and a DNS record.
Top-ups
You can buy extra credits from Settings. They go into a separate top-up balance, on top of the monthly allowance. The pack and the price are whatever the app shows at checkout. The pricing page says top-ups do not expire.
A top-up does not replace a plan. After the demo, you still need a current paid plan to run a scan.
Share links
A share link is read-only. The client does not need an account and does not use a seat. Anyone with the link can open the report. You choose what to publish and who to send it to, and you are responsible for both.
API and MCP
You can create a key in the app and revoke it there. Send it as a bearer token. We store a hash of the key, not the key itself. The REST API is at app.maprank.so/api/v1. The MCP server is at app.maprank.so/api/mcp. Its tools are get_account, list_businesses, run_scan, get_scan, and list_scans.
A scan started this way costs the same credits as a scan you run yourself, and it requires a paid plan. Do not share the key. You are responsible for scans a key starts.
Billing, cancellation, and refunds
Fees are charged by Stripe, in US dollars, monthly or yearly, as you choose at checkout.
You can cancel from the app's billing settings. Cancellation is scheduled with Stripe. The pricing page says you can cancel any time. While cancellation is pending, the plan still runs. When the subscription is canceled or inactive, unused monthly plan credits expire and cannot be spent. Cancelling a plan does not delete your businesses or scan history. Closing the account, or asking us to delete it, does: account data is deleted within 90 days, and backups age out on the same schedule. The Privacy Policy describes that.
You can change plan from Settings, then Billing. The pricing page says the change takes effect on the next invoice and that Stripe prorates the difference.
Paid fees are non-refundable. We do not give refunds, except where the law requires otherwise. Email support@maprank.so if you think a charge is wrong.
Acceptable use
You will not:
- Break the law with the service, or upload a logo or other content you do not have the right to use
- Try to access another customer's account, keys, or reports
- Overload the service, the API, or the scan pipeline, or use them to attack Google or any other system
- Present a scan as an official Google ranking, or say that Maprank is connected to a client's Google Business Profile when it is not
- Use a public report to mislead someone about who produced it
- Share an API key, or use a key to run scans the account owner did not allow
We can suspend an account that breaks these rules.
Liability
The service is provided as it is. Scans can fail, and Google's results can change.
To the extent the law allows, Local SEO Bot LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost clients, or lost data. Our total liability for a claim relating to Maprank is limited to the amount you paid us for Maprank in the 12 months before the claim.
Some places do not allow these limits. In those places, the limit applies only as far as the law allows. The 12-month cap is a term in this contract. It is not a number from the billing system.
Changes
We can update these terms. The date at the top will change. If you keep using Maprank after that date, the new terms apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio.
